Just renewed road tax today, gone down from 312tl to 275tl and third party Insurance with Commercial Insurance reduced from 300tl to 250tl

What do you mean davedee I do not understand I just go to the garage I bought from get car serviced and they go and sort out Ins/Road Tax and when needed MOT.

To put things into perspective my car is the same age and size as John's but mine is a 2.0 engine and weighs 1350kg,my road tax last year was 723 ytl,a difference of 410 ytl.

I think the road tax goes down a small amount after you've had it for 5 years, either from new or importation.

Japeal as I understand it the third party side of the insurance is pretty limited, not sure i would want to put it to the test!



For my tiny little Toyota Vitz it was only £123 for the comprehensive side of insurance, plus 250tl for the third party.



My car is a 2001 which they still tell me is worth £4500 certainly would not want to loose that for a £123!
