This really is a long shot. Have managed to purchase internet dongle but having trouble with the phone I brought with me. It is a very old and trusty Nokia 8310. It was unlocked from the network I was using some time ago but I haven't used it for a few years. I have purchased a sim card but on turning the phone on it is asking for a restriction code and I can't get any further than that. It won't accept my pin number and I am certain that this restriction code is set to default but have no idea what that is. Can anyone help. Have tried 1245, 1111 and 0000 which seemed to be the obvious but none worked. I am going in to a phone shop to see if they can help but I suspect they will be more interested in selling me a new phone. Can anyone help me please. Many thanks

I tried 1234 and it didn't work so now have gone to phone shop in Kyrenia and at last have wroking phone albeit an old Nokia - my iphone was going to cost try 300 to unlock!

Its always worth trying 0000 on these occasions as well. Worked on mine 3 or 4 years back.
