I used to think that Ancient Greeks were fantastic at scientific knowledge. Not any more when you realise even the most basic things they got wrong, then you can only come to the conclusion that they just stole the knowledge and did not understand it at all.

For instance:

1. They did not know what testicles were for. They believed that when boys became men, their testicles grew and dropped. On dropping stretched the voice cords and dropped the frequency of the voice and made it deeper.

Now everyone knows that when the voice chords were stretched it surely would have raised the frequency and the voice and not lower it.

2. Secondly when sculpting David they got the wrong ball as the bigger one – so they also confused their right from their left.
