Now that we have got down to the business end of proceedings its knock out time ! And it's a 50/50 call with these two Teams, as I see it, both playing good expansive Rugby it's just who turns up on the day ? Hard call, it's youth against experiance I guess !! I think it's both new territory for both Celtic Nations to progress this far ?? Nevertheless I'm sure it's going to be one hell of a battle, both in forward and backs, Mouth watering encounter I'm sure you will agree, can't wait for this one !!!! May the Best Team go on to the Semi final's.... Just remember England were considered " Old Pensioners during the 2003 crusade" but were they really past it ?? Would also like to wish England best Wishes to England in their encounter with the out of Sync French, see you in the Semi's England, maybe maybe not ??? Bon Chance boys in Blanc<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Allez Angleterre !!!!

Aye Mikey53,

Wales, do they have the belief that they can beat Ireland at this level, but Ireland have a lot of experienced heads and know this will be the last hurrah for a few of them as they have been dubbed the golden generation of Irish Rugby but on World Stage have fell short. Personally I think Ireland have too much experience and will win the crucial lineouts although Wales will be no mugs in the scrums. But B'O'D is due a big game and he has this Irish knack of delivering when needed.

England I hope will beat France and I hope the All Blacks after. The ABs will be the quarter finals highest scorers

Australia v South Africa , I feel the experience and power of the Springboks pack particularly the front row will see them through and sorry but cannot see either Wales or Ireland beating them as much as I would want to. However if Australia are winners then can see both Home nations teams beating the Wallabies

So roll on for a great weekend from a Scotsman!!

Might have got this wrong (but I haven't) if England beat France then they will be playing the winners of Wales v Ireland.

As an Englishman I sort of hope Wales beat Ireland, I think it's a big ask for Wales as Ireland know how to play the big games and are more experienced but from England's point of view Wales plays more of the game that England work best against. South Africa look awesome at the moment and I think will make short work of Australia as will the All Blacks against Argentina. Huge semi on that side of the draw with the springboks, I think, just edging it over the All Blacks. That could set up a repeat of the final four years ago but, i hope, with the opposite result! whatever happens this is gonns be s great weekend of Rugby, bring it on!!!!

Nice to get some decent replies to what is Lets face it an open game, I have not in anytime underestimated the opponents that is always a crucial element especially in Rugby take no opposition at your peril Boyos !! Thats why the Plonker Nick Mallet gave the Irish front row extra mental "Ammo" in calling the front row battle lost even before kick off in the game with Italy. Gatland made the same mistake years ago I remember v Ireland ( big mistake ) Those big guys at the front may look heavy & thick but they are the power house who win games and the Girls at the back just by How much !!!! Slainte, Cheers Let The Game Commence Lads, owwwph can't wait, Bet the Banter in Camp Bastion is overspilling and Why Not !!!
