current situation:

We currently have very good coverage in (from west to east); Karsiyaka, Lapta, Incesu, Malatya, Alsancak, Ilgaz, Karaoglanoglu, Karmi, Girne, Karakum, Dogankoy, Ozankoy, Catalkoy and Arapkoy. There is limited coverage in Esentepe, Bahceli and Tatlisu which is due to be upgraded soon. In the south of the mountains, the coverage extends from Ercan to Lefke area.



Whats done:

Karmi basestation is upgraded

A new BS is added in Girne

A new BS is added to far side of Catalkoy, 2 more are on their way.

A new BS is added in Arapkoy



We have discovered a glitch in our bandwidth limiting system that affects user performance in specific situations. We have now fixed this problem and improved on this system so that efficiency of our system is up by about 30%. (cont)

We have decided to offer up to 25% more speed to all out customers at no additional cost. 2Mbit is now 2.5Mbit, 4Mbit is now 5Mbit and 10Mbit is now set to 12.5Mbit speeds. We will continue to advertise lower speeds in our promotions, but you will usually get more in ideal conditions.

Our extended phone suppport is now official. You should be able to reach us 9am till midnight. Because the calls fall into our central pbx first and then gets distributed to available agents, it may take up to 20 seconds for an answer, please be patient!.



what to do this month:

Basestations in esentepe will be upgraded and 1 more will be added.

1 new basestation will be installed in bahceli

Basestations in Tatlisu will be upgraded.

STILL LOOKING FOR A BASETATION LOCATION IN ALAGADI!

@DutchCrusader, 9 months is a big stretch, even for a Cypriot . However, If you pay for 2 years up front, I might be able to give you up to 8 months extra at no cost.



@tom, there is still 10 months till end of August, so whats the rush . joking aside, we are not en route to fixing esentepe links and bahceli is next.

Is your coverage now in lower Catlkoy ok (not far from Cratos) ? Thinking of moving to a new ISP so not sure if we would be better waiting for the new Catalkoy bs to be in place ?

@the2ofus: cratos itself is scheduled to be installed as a basestation before the end of this month. Currently we have basestations in Karakum, Ozankoy and far side of Catalkoy that might give you coverage (we can always repoint your antenna to the new basestation when ready). You can call 0548 870 0226 and speak to our Girne Branch for a site survey and they will tell you what your best option is.



@kelly25, We are open on saturdays, engineers work all day whereas office itself is open from 9am till 1pm.
