Hello! I will be taking 2 dogs from Kyrenia Animal Rescue center with me to Germany. I need a large box where both of them can go in together (app. 125cmx75cmx85cm). Is there someone who has such a box for sale? Thank you!

You need to get two separate airline approved pet carriers for two dogs...

Airlines will not transport two live animals in one box..

No, unfortunately not. I already got 2 seperate ones and Lufthansa has insisted on 1 big one. Otherwise they would not be able to take them. I doublechecked various times with them. I will be flying out of Ankara to Munich. So I will be taking the ferry from Cyprus and then drive to Ankara. This was the only possible option for me - even though very cumbersome.

Try Perova Garden Centre in Alsancak. Last year they had a whole bunch in their stores...and the correct travelling ones at that....a tad on the pricey side, but better to pay the price than be turned away at the airport.

Neomi, you will not find a box of that size on sale in any normal pet shop here. The largest sold is an Atlas 70 which only measures 101 x 69 x 78cm. (and they are hard to come by).

Normally IATA approved boxes for transport of more than one animal are divided into the appropriate number of compartments. these are generally custom made out of wood etc by livestock shipping companies. to the best of my knowledge there is not such a company here in the TRNC.

if you are taking these dogs from KAR have you talked to Margaret Ray about all possible route options?
