I was talking to William Bell in July ...an real gent and a great voice, still! ....but Tony Clarke ..so few tracks from an absolute giant ...'The Entertainer' and 'Ain't Love Good , Ain't Love Proud'...classics... keep on keepin' on, Max!

PS I won't be watching the rugby on Saturday morning ...but REAL rugby (Saints v Leeds) on Saturday night ....we're talking Northern, aren't we?

I totally agree with your choice of code. I only wish that my team, Huddersfield Giants were playing at Old Trafford. Still, It will be an opportunity for the Saints to get their revenge on the Rhinos.

What a pity there isn't a Northern Soul track referring to RL rules as 'Backfield in Motion' does to American Football ....it used to be known as the Northern Union, after all.

PS I'm pleased to say that I saw Huddersfield Giants in a Final at old Trafford in 1996 ....we beat them 26-6!

Ah, pre-super league days at Huddersfield. I'm sure that Hull wishes that they have been at succesful as Huddersfield over the last 4 seasons. Lets hope that Danny Brough continues to show what he can do for another season. Max..
