I said it was a close one to call, but I did go for Ireland ,Wales won and deservedly so. Sorry that the Ireland team didnt make history and be the first to a semi final, would have been a wonderful swansong for O'Driscoll and co. Now watching England and wincing all the time 16-nil at half time I certainly don't think it is a foregone conclusion. as much as I dislike Johnston I don't want them to lose ,although it may end the Johnston era and get a coach that lets players play with inmigination and flair.

Wel, I am a cr5p tipster, I thought Ireland would pull it off but well done Wales. Ireland now have to reassess and start bringing in more fresh blood as a few are in the Autumns of their careers. Shame is though, I still cannot see Wales beating a Southern Hemisphere side as I could Ireland, but hope the lava bread eating Taffs prove me wrong..........again haha!!

Fantastic job Wales - there was nothing I saw in the French win that eclipsed Wales' performance and my money is certainly on Wales reaching the final with every chance of bringing home the trophy. I have already bagged some tickets for the other Wales v France game in Cardiff next March so I'll be travelling there with high hopes (and after this victory I would guess there are no tickets to be had for Wales' home games next 6 Nations so just as well I got in early). Come on Wales!!!!

From my previous post for mikelapta on another thread. The coach driver was warming up the engine for Les Blanc airport run before half time! Who's singing in the valleys and the champs elysees and who's crying in their beers. That's rugby, the better teams won! Allez 'Les Kırmızılar' Hippo Msg 5 Interesting 3rd paragraph, I have a lot of time for M.J. a proven leader by example with a remarkable CV, will there be a whitch hunt for a whipping boy when the dust settles, I do hope not, I'd like to see him make his own decision after the 6 Nations. BigMart Msg 10 A compassionate reply as ever from you but true! Will Wales meet S. Africa at Auckland on the 23rd? Probably, will they take anything back to the valleys to put leeks or dafodils in? I have strong reservations! Over to you then mikelapta, be bold!
