Does anyone out there use his/her device to navigate in Northern Cyprus? Did you download a special NC map? Is your iPad 2 a worthy substitute for any other navigation devise? I'm particularly interested in the names of GPS apps (I found some good ones in Apples App store, but I may have missed some). And a last question (for now): what general use do you have your iPad for?

I've never tried it out in NC but have found it pretty useless on my iPad 2 (Wifi only) in Istanbul. Because it doesn't have a GPS chip it is not accurate enough to be a real alternative to a navigation device IMO. Even the 3g+Wifi version only has assisted GPS..

Might be wrong but my understanding is the the wifi only model has no GPS but the 3g+wifi does, that is 'true' GPS and AGPS as well ?
