In light of obama being president elect can any one tell me of a nation led by a black man that is prospering and the " man in the street " is better off ??

Nige, I really don't think "colour" has anything to do with it. Besides he hasn't even taken up office yet, so far too early to speculate whether he is going to be better than his predecessor, although IMO a trained chimp could have done a better job than Bush.



And anyway, he is only half "black", his father originated from Kenya.

It doesent matter to me ! if he is black green yellow purple or any other colour dont think colour has any thing to do with it. You should be asking , does anyone know of a country ruled by white men if they are better off ? bbut I get your drift though. surely he coudnt make a worse job than Bush or Blair. LOL Ron(aldo)

being from the US i sure hope Obama does a good job. i don't care about color. W26Kay you are right anyboby can do a better job then Bush. i have respect for the fact that he is our president now but he has done a mess of our country. alot of my friends have lost their jobs and right now our nation is in trouble. Obama has alot of work in front of him. the talk here is that it is going to take him about 1 to 2 years to turn things around for the US.

As up to now, black men have only been elected as President of piss poor countries I think it's a bit of a no brainer.. It's not easy making a silk purse out of sows ear when the western world wants to keep you in your place...
