Hi. Have you tried rebooting the wifi box on your roof (unplug power and replug it) ? I think MM did make some changes over the weekend and a reboot may be needed, but that is just a guess.

thanks erolz, have tried rebooting and online support, no joy. spoke to girne branch manager who told me he was on holiday for a week. have emailed kemal yesturday, no reply. maybe they're all on holiday.

You are going to have a problem with Multimax in Tatlisu as their signal is not strong enogh for that area , i was told that by 1 of their employees.

A young lady phoned me from Multimax this morning. The call came from 0548 870 0236 - maybe it's a number you haven't tried yet.

getting worried now, still no internet, glad i kept my telsim dongle, hope i didn't make a mistake in paying a year up front. did manage to get someone to talk to but no idea when they can fix it.

Probably, the man who said to you have the same number of brain cells with you. Because, Multimax is not a company like this:

Multimax: We don't have a very good signal there.

Multimax 1: We don't have to have.

Multimax2: Ok. They don't have internet but this is not a serious problem.

Multimax3: What you re talking about. Let's talk about how we sabotage the oyher companies.

Tatlisu area is currently under rework and a much improved service and coverage will be established there just this weekend (15-16 Oct), with improvements to 2 basestations and installation of 2 new ones.
