All the advice on here is rent rent rent so if no one is buying how do the estate agents make ends meet,there are plenty about. Are the living on the boom time profits.

Don't forget, most of them charge the owner for finding a tenant and the tenant for finding them a property. (At least that used to be the case) Perhaps in these tough times, they have changed their policy?

Many have moved into the rental/maintenance market. They have all been hit hard with the slump in sales.



Perhaps it would be a good idea to clean up their act and press for Government changes that would hopefully restore confidence in the construction industry and property purchase.

To ignore what is happening will cause long term damage.

From what I know now anything in the TRNC need not be sold cheap to be particularly illegimate .............. It could be as expensive as hell!

Believe it or not local cypriots do buy properties aswell as mainland Turks, Russians and most recently the Iranians..



Sensibly priced good properties with deeds will always sell and with the rate of commission estate agents in the TRNC are demanding, all it takes is few good sales along with a dozen or so rentals to keep going.

AND WITH NO PTP THEY WILL GET NO DEEDS...........................? Sensibly priced or not!



As for Rentals............ The Estate Agents can grab all the rentals they want............. the owners can at least get some return?



And the local Cypriots have their pick.............



As for the Estate Agents.......... No big money.............. :-(



Lets hope the dozen or so rentals keep these Estate Agents going! whatever would the TRNC do without them? and their rates of commission..........

The buyers will have there property live/use it for 2-3 years get there ptp happydays.

There are alot of english with deeds in hand whats the problem buying off them ?
