Nope, you just need to wait by side of road, and they turn up pretty regularly.

The only schedule is the first of the day and the last in the evening. I'm sure dolmus riders in Karsiyaka will let you know what those are. Other than that it's "how long is a piece of string"

I get the dolmus from Karsiyaka village every day at different times. So, here it is. If you live up in the village (by the Mosque) they are approximately on the hour every hour during the week (in the morning every half hour)...give or take 10 minutes or so...although sometimes they like to stop and have a coffee at the coffee shop just past the co-op, so it really is just luck of the draw. If you are feeling strong then it is advisable to walk down to the Karsiyaka square where you have another opportunity of catching the Camlibel dolmus which seems to be a tad more regular. However, after lunch time (or so) if the dolmus has noone on board (heading to Karsiyaka) then most often they will turn around at Lapta and go back to town..leaving those waiting in Karsiyaka for another hour (or so). It is advisable to get phone numbers of your local dolmus and call him to find out when the next one is due. I hope this is helpful to you. DD
