Is there a Bio / Organic / Health Shop in Girne or Lefkosa? I am looking for seeds, flakes and good health shop products and supplements. Any ideas?

In my view, everything of this kind is vastly over priced both here and in the south. You need to look around to get what you want at the best possible prices. There is, by the way, a stall on the Girne Wednesday market that sells quite a lot of stuff like seeds etc and also oils. The government have closed the door on getting cheap supplements etc as they don't allow their import now by individuals. Presumably this action was due to pressure by the 'pharmacists union' who can continue to buy overseas in bulk and charge rip off prices here!

Don't expect H & B UK prices down South though - much more expensive. There is (or perhaps was by now) an organic shop in Girne. If you enter Girne from the Lapta direction, turn left at the roundabout near the SOS home, drive past HSBC for couple of hundred yards you will come to a Y fork. Take a right and about 50 yards down this road you will see a large sign indicating an Organic Shop up one of the roads on the right.

Also there is a pharmacist in the main High Street which specialises in supplements. Go down the road past Girne Municipal office. Keep going until you pass the Altinbas Jewellers start to go up again for about 25yds you will come to the pharmacist on the right. Has a large selection. Many other pharmacist have stocks as well but, as said above, nothing is cheap!!! Golden flax seed can be purchased in Alpha Mega down South. Haven't seen it up here any where.

I just started selling organic products...Very limited number of people are interested.

I have shampoo and deodorants for ladies. Tooth paste, dish wash tablets and wash machine powder and liquids.

If you are interested please let me know.

What kind of seeds are you looking for?

Hi Ozzy,

I am planning a move to Cyprus and will be living in the Girne area. I am a health and wellness coach and educate many about the effects of toxins on the body. Suddenly I will no longer have access to the products that I have used for years.

Please send me your contact information and the names of the products you are selling so I can research them. We may be of help to each other.
