| Thanks Hans nice photo.
I was there just the other day with a friend of '' ours'' we were both not impressed with either food or service...given without even a smile !
But I am of the sort that understands that they could well have just had an ''off' day ! Shame though I was always shown how to never show such at work !

| Been a few times for good food but the barman / owner never smiles , shame really as spoils what should be a nice experience !! |

Chris mine host top bloke always smiles & even says hello to me, but there again I do make the effort to speak to him. |

| Great food as well, never had a problem when we go in, but they are always so busy so perhaps it was a 'grumpy' day for them both ...
If the food is good, you are half way there, but if the food and people are rubbish, then this is why places fail in NC.. |

| never had bad food @ the hut the sizzling chili prawns are just yummy , the service and mine hosts brill.
keep it up guys consistently good is a rarity. |

| Yes we had them too they are simply to die for, and the good old egg and ham chips are great as well...
Have to say Sue and hubby are always very chatty when we are there, we dont want recognition,and dont think Sue would know who we were, but she is always gives her best to every one ... |

| Four of us had lunch there yesterday, four different meals, only complaint was that I couldn't finish mine just too much. We go at least once a week and Chris and Sue are always pleasant and welcoming.

| Tried The Hut once, very bad service, gave it benefit of the doubt, went back a second time and will never go back again. No need to part with my cash to someone who can't even raise a smile. |

| We go often - Chris isnt a great smiler, but does his job - what more do you want. (Maybe he has NEVER been a smiler, so why should he start now/) The more you go and he gets to know you, then you get a little more of the smile!! The food has always been excellent and Sue makes desserts to die for - and me on a diet!! she always has a chat if its not too busy - remember it is almost a one man band in the kitchen, she rarely has help - and if its busy she doesnt have the time to talk to diners except to ask if everything is ok. |
