no different worldwide at the moment I see you can buy In Dubai at £600K discount villas available £1.2million. So even the superstars with their Financial resources and advisers have lost money. On the other hand these superstarsare still maing money out of the buffoons who idolise them and spend money to see them at concerts football matches etc etc etc

The question was, Have any of the Estate Agents closed yet.

Do you know of any that have gone, and if so should we sympathise.

Not a straight answer but .... having just spent a whole week in the company of several agents from Girne to Famagusta; some will shut soon. They all seem to be saying that they are shifting just one property a week. With an average 5 staff per office and the commission percentage dropping, they will soon be out of funds to support themselves.

Times are certainly tough for estate agents globally. Time to get a bargain..possibly. Be vigilent to ensure that you get delivery of what you pay for. Middle man payments will clearly carry a higher level of risk to both buyer and seller.

I suggest you try and ensure direct payment to service/property provider and ensure direct delivery.
