I met her in Macro in Manchester some 40 years ago.She was the same natural lady you saw on Corro.

Corrie without Betty's Hotpot won't be the same! They can't carry on making em...she wouldn't let them know the recipe! What a great character she was...and apparently a good band-singer in her youth. Well, that's what me dad told me! Think she sang with the likes of the Squadronnaires, Joe Loss and Freddie Platt in the 40's.
