When I flew back to the TRNC for a holiday I was given a speeding fine telling me I had to attend the Police station within 48 Hours, so I went I was given the details of my old car from 1 Year ago, on checking the date the offence was committed by the new owner 6 weeks after it was sold,I was in UK, so no problem then, er wrong, the police officer detained me saying your car your fine you pay, I enlisted the help of a more senior person who spoke good english and explained, they still insisted that I get the new owner into the Police station, to take his fine, that's not down to me, luckily I was able to call him and he came, but what if I could not find him or he was out of the TRNC....the list goes on.

At the reg office I saw the documents updated both on the blue card and the computer, all the police said was that the computer was very slow, yeah about a year to slow.

So if you have sold your car and get pulled at the border and given a speeding ticket remember this post.

The logic is about as good as it gets on Devils Island,

sounds like a severe case of skin tax. Pleased it worked out ok, others have not been so fortunate in this corrupt dog end state.
