No pleasing all the people all the time etc, etc, is it better for the economy that the Tourist rate, GBP is decent enough to make up a visitor's mind to visit a particular destination ie TRNC. As you would appreciate it's no good having imports cheap, if there is no one to purchase said Imports ? As a predominantly Tourist economy I guess, I would think ( volume, should balance the economic books) ?? Finally as TRNC is a bit of a retirement "Magnet" and pensions are paid in £'s, I would expect that your expenditure and budget would be relivent to your pension income ??

The obvious question is why buy the imported products in the first place ???

I haven't noticed a big increase in my overall monthly bill over the last few months, except for petrol.

With the TL losing so much value I can only feel sorry for the locals.

The consequences will be devastating for all so lets hope we get back down to a more realistic rate sooner rather than later.

Let's not hope that Msg 8. You've had yer swings let us have our roundabouts. Most of the UK Sterling paid pensioners money get's fed back into the local ecomony in any event, bide your time without being selfish, let us enjoy ours!

"you've had your swings let us have our roundabouts" Whats with the yours and ours comments ??

I like you earn in UK sterling but unlike you have the ability to look at the wider picture. I am not in anyway being selfish, not everything in the TRNC revolves around uk pensioners.

msg 10, no most things in TRNC revolve around the elite rich getting richer from the scams involving the mass.
