No pleasing all the people all the time etc, etc, is it better for the economy that the Tourist rate, GBP is decent enough to make up a visitor's mind to visit a particular destination ie TRNC. As you would appreciate it's no good having imports cheap, if there is no one to purchase said Imports ? As a predominantly Tourist economy I guess, I would think ( volume, should balance the economic books) ?? Finally as TRNC is a bit of a retirement "Magnet" and pensions are paid in £'s, I would expect that your expenditure and budget would be relivent to your pension income ??

The obvious question is why buy the imported products in the first place ??? I haven't noticed a big increase in my overall monthly bill over the last few months, except for petrol.

With the TL losing so much value I can only feel sorry for the locals. The consequences will be devastating for all so lets hope we get back down to a more realistic rate sooner rather than later.

msg 9 "you've had your swings let us have our roundabouts" Whats with the yours and ours comments ?? I like you earn in UK sterling but unlike you have the ability to look at the wider picture. I am not in anyway being selfish, not everything in the TRNC revolves around uk pensioners.
