I've been prescribed ritalin 10 MG x 60 by my doctor, but in Famagusta, none of the pharmacies seem to have it available at the moment. I was advised to go to Nicosia, but it's a bit of a distance, without any assurance.

Does anyone on this forum have any ideas of where to make a purchase, it's rather urgent.

Thanks

Ask the pharmacist for ' Methylphenidate Hydrochloride' (Ritalin) And they should have the Turkish equivalent.

Good Luck

Try looking at the on-call pharmacies in Cyprus Today, at least you'll get some phone numbers to call so that you will know if any of them have got some before making a long possibly fruitless journey.

Surely your Dr. would not have prescribed for you a potentially dangerous addictive drug knowing that you would not be able to obtain it at pharmacists at your end of the KKTC. Obviously it's not our business to ask or know why you should need to use Ritalin, but be careful.

Message 10,

If you read message 1 she says she was prescribed this by her Doctor. It is neither your place nor mine to question why she has been prescribed this or for why. Also it is not uncommon here for the pharmacists to run out of drugs!

Big turn out … let's see.

@carian I visited the pharmacy opposite the apartment I'm about to let out, they said they could only get Concerta in about a week. I'm hoping for a more immediate solution, but I could wait it out.

@martinD41 I'm aware of the effects, side-effects and long-term effects (or lack-thereof) I've been on and off of it for about three years. Your concern doesn't go amiss though.

@moonmelon1 Ah, neat. I already have a doctor and a pharmacy and (read the next line)

@shrimp I'm aware it's controlled. I have a prescription.

@Tango1 My Dr did say that it would be hard to find here, that I would have to go to Nicosia … When I went two days ago, the pharmasist there said I needed a red prescription. I returned back to my Dr. and he said that he hasn't got nor knows of a "red prescription", and recommended another pharmacy in Nicosia, but I'm waiting it out to exhaust all my options before hopping on another bus. Might turn it into a full out road-trip and

I should have asked for where one can find ecstasy, might have been easier to engage an audience through the use or discussion of MDMA.
