"Dale Farm evictions can go ahead

Residents of Dale Farm have been refused permission to appeal against a High Court ruling giving Basildon Council the go-ahead to evict them. "

I wouldn't normally reply or comment on a post like this...but, after living and owning shops in the Billericay area, I feel I must.

Our local pub, quite 'posh'',I must say, was totally trashed by these so called people. They stole the loo seats for goodness sake. Hence, it is now closed. This pub has been going strong for years, and it took them a few years to close it down.

I've had items stolen from my front display, my delivery drivers scared out of their wits whilst having to deliver to this area, all I can say is, the quicker they are evicted, the better.

It is so sad for others living in the area where these people act like this.

Maybe now they will go back to whereever it is they came from.

These people think they can operate outside the law - and they usually can.........because the police over here are hopeless....

You are so right blackbird, they only target easy arrests .... To go into these camp sites the police are nervy to make an arrest or even question them, these people think they 'are' the law unfortunately, and to hell with the rest of law abiding people ...

Well, when we saw one of them stealing flowers from my front, my daughter took all of four steps to apprehend one of these 'ladies', she must have covered goodness knows how many feet. She took the flowers from her hand, got the registration number and make of the car, the 'cops' were too scared to go to the site. They told us to look out for them!!!!!!

On another occasion, we'd just had a delivery of Christmas trees, all over six feet tall. One had gone missing, and our TC neighbours recollected an old woman putting it on her van. (they thought she'd paid for it)

How's that for b'''''''''''''lls?
