urgent help needed about motorbike

hi can you help we are moving to northern cyprus in two to three weeks time we have a motorbike 1992 tourer

we would like to keep it but because it is more than five years old there will be a problem, is it possible to drive it over a border and back again every three months as a tourist I really need some help

I believe if you have owned any vehicle in your name for 5 years or more you can bring it here no problem. You will have to pay import duty at some stage within a yea,r and even if you go across the border every 3 months you will still have to pay duty here as it entered through the trnc, and it is an accumulation of 1 year from the time you brought it here.

These rules have probably changed now so best check first.
