I highly recommend Tekos Place close to the highest point on the Karpas penninsula, if you are looking for somewhere unspoilt and rural to stay. They have a number of cabins and tents which can be rented. The beach there is absolutely awesomely fantastic. The owner is so hospitable. We had such a good laugh with him and his colleague enjoying lots of arm wrestling and good banter. In fact, he gave us so much free beer that he couldn't have made a profit from us. http://www.tekosplace.com



At Tekos place we met a German lady who has been negotiating with the TRNC government to bring over two dolphins from Cuba to work with disabled Children in Europe. The plan is to bring kids form all over the continent to enjoy the healing benefits of dolphins.
