A 'ea & Cakes' party in Karsiaka in aid of the 'Tulips' charity

On Sunday 23rd October from 3pm onwards, there will be a 'tea and cakes' party with a small auction and a raffle at the home of Maureen Hussain in Karsiaka. All proceeds from the event will go to the 'Tulips Cancer Charity' out here in the TRNC.



To be auctioned are:- 2 quality Ladies watches - a cut glass vase - a cut glass bowl - a glass 'Joe Malone' candle holder with silver cover and candle - and, some cyprus made ladies jewelry.



This is the 5th, 'tea and cakes' party that Maureen has held at her home, which is near JK's bar in Karsiaka and all have been very successful at raising funds for the 'Tulips' charity. If you don't want to participate in the auction, just put a small donation into the box for the tea and cakes. Come along and enjoy lovely afternoon out with like-minded people and help raise funds for a very worthwhile charity.

Hi Chris, yes your right. I thought that her house was just inside the border of Karsiaka. That makes it not as far to travel if your on the east side of her house. Hope to see you at her 'tea & cakes' party.

what a good idea! sounds great! Can you point me in the direction of the Tulips charity shop also? I tried searching for it yesterday and couldn't seem to find it!

Hi Emma, the 'Tulips' charity shop is in Girne on the opposite side of the road to the 'Savoy' hotel. Walk down Girne High Street from the main town centre car park. Go straight over the crossroads where the Limassol bank is, to just past the 'Savoy' hotel and the shop is on the right, set back away from the road in a small shopping plaza.



Hope that is clear enough to understand.

Hi Emma, somebody told me that they think they are open every day. Don't know the opening times though.
