I posted an Honest and succinct thread regarding a Travel Agent who had given very bad service. The thread was commented on by several contributors and then abruptly , it was removed.

Forum 44 said it was because the Agent had requested them to do so.

No explanation to me, the Contributor.

Sycophantic plaudits of the same Agent remain on the Forum.



TRNC Tourist Industry can't be very robust if it has to censor constructibve critcism , but allows removal on request?

Next time Peter book with Tom one of the 44 forum members. He is a professional TA. Not a fly boy with a PC that just books flights, rooms and takes a slice. Tom and Alan offer a first class service. Even when things don't quite go to plan. They get involved on a personal level to ensure you get what you pay for. You actually get more than you pay for.

stubbs1, if it is one of Izzet's "business cronies", what would you have him do,

alienate one essential to his wellbeing or one of us, not essential to same?



He provides us, at his expense, with a means to attack each other, sometimes even help each other, but not to the detriment of his business. Sad, but that's the way of the world.

I was astounded a few weeks ago,I phoned a travel agent to enquire about hotels in the Phillipines.



I was asked if I had booked my flight,which I already had



Then was told,we do not book hotels if you do not get your airline tickets with us !!!!!



This is a well known travel agent in town,which I had used many times.



And,of course,will never use again.So up yours A****A Travel.

retepaeq, C44 is a commercial venture and upsetting paying customers (the readers are not paying customers) is out of the question. If you're looking to complain about poor service then use http://www.consumerpressuregroup.com

Hi stubbs1, I haven't changed at all, nor did I fall off my horse. Not that falling off would bother me, the landing might tho'. It's when someone you trust, or not, cripples your horse that riles me. Izzett has a business to run, I don't think that closing C44 down would harm that business so why attack him. Noses and faces eh! As for the "puppet issue", having met the hated late mod, try doing the same, he may surprise you.
