Cressy you're refering to the market next to the Loch inn, on the old iskele rd (Ercan - Bogaz mausa), there is also a KUNT MARKET.

My trip last year when we bought, I sat next to a nice turkish guy called ufuk, then we were directed to go and get out white goods from arcelik [which looks like the c should be a s] as everyone knows!! Its our dirty language that lowers the tone!!!

but really not at anyones expense especially if thats their name

actually it is called arçelik the c is pronounced ch

hiya.It wasn't my intention to lower the tone,i wouldn't want to offend anyone.just thought it was funny,i do have a warped sense of humour though so those kind of things do tickle me.

hi guys

yeah ive seen the honey ufuk there are many other products which you could not sell in britain like negro biscuits these a dark chocalate biscuits with dark chocalate filling

also the company behind jif (the cleaning product) changed their name to cif so its the same name throughout europe are having problems in turkey because the new name cif is pronounced as jif so they are back to square one
