For goodness sake, instead of just posting a link let us know what it's about. Here is the quote from the link:

"8 weeks ago I had my hair cut by Hasan (on a Monday) and received 20% off my bill. I know this was correct as Hasan's wife took my payment.

Today, I went back to have my hair cut again. Hasan cut it and then when I went to pay him he told me HIS hair cuts were NOT 20% off. So, what has changed?.

So please be aware that if you book Hasan, you will NOT get the discount and won't be told until you pay!!

I also suggest they alter their posting on Cyprus 44."

I have a website full of bargains and I would like to share them. By putting a link people will come to my website and view the 300 bargains that I spent a great deal of time putting on there.

If you are not interested then don't bother clicking.

For the rest of you the link is http://www.consumerpressuregroup.com

britvic: Actually it is very true about Hasan because I have stopped going there for that very reason.

They advertise discounts for this and that and when you ask Hasan is not included. Also each time I went the price was up 10tl from originally 110 to 130 although having the very same every time, ie. roots colour, cut and blow dry.

Hello Whistler

For Hassan the only difference in prices are instead of 40 TL his price is 50 TL for hair cuts.

AND all the other prices for every service is the same.

Thank you

and to Supersnooper

We are very sorry for the misunderstanding . On the text messages we send to our clients we do send that Mr. Hassan is not included. As for the 20 % off we like to promote our other employees as well. Again sorry for the misunderstanding. We didn't mean to trick anyone with this typo. And for today we did take the 20 % off for you for the misunderstanding .

I beg to differ, I paid FULL price as when I paid Hasan told me there was no reduction for him. I wasn't told that when I made the appointment and asked if it was still 20%off.

anyone ever got one of these famous text messages saying that Hasan was excluded from the 20% off discount? Seems a bit outrageous that it's pensioners being misled here, trying to keep up appearances on a limited budget and then being told that they'll have to pay far more than they were led to expect. Must be embarrassing for them to find their pension being suddenly depleted in such underhand way. Perhaps a sign at the door would have helped? Perhaps staff training so that when appointments are booked for Monday, the person booking is asked if they are taking advantage of the 20% discount so they can be told that Hassan won't be their hairdresser. Reminds me of Chicago in the 1920s.

Very sorry we had thought you were a recent client that had just come in today .

Again very sorry but Hassan does not do the senior citizen discount.

Very sorry for the misunderstanding.

AND HASSAN DOES EVERY MONTH SPECIALS EXCEPT THE HAIRCUTS SPECIALS.

Thank You

I totally understand what you are saying now but prior to this, having already taken advantage of this discount previously with Hasan, I have to agree with the other poster that you seem to change your deal when it suits you. I did come in this morning as Hasan is obviously aware.

We at http://www.consumerpressuregroup.com intend to expose these kind of practices which seem to be spreading rapidly throughout North Cyprus.

I do believe you are sorry, sorry for the adverse publicity.

Yel 2011. Why then have I been charged 10 tl more each time I came? If there has been a price increase why was I not told? Incidenally, I did receive a text message saying about over 60 discount but it DID NOT say Hasan was not included. The very first one way back did say this. This is why I phoned and queried whether the over 60 offer included Hasan. My next question is Why doesn`t it include Hasan? An offer from an establishment is an offer as far as I am concerned.

I think you must have suddenly realised that as a large number of the community (especially expats) are over 60 you would lose out.
