In July I was criticised on this board for the way I conducted myself in raising money for KAR.



This last week I came under a sustained and vicious attack again over the same situation from a board member who critcised the same fund raising efforts, also the integrity of our banking in the UK. As a result of these attacks I said I would in future withdraw my fund raising efforts and I publically blamed my action, on those attacks. In my post I named The Wicks as being the people that criticised me. I have since made a search of my database. I made an error of identification.



I am happy to appologise publically, and unreservedly to The Wicks, for misidentifying

them. It was not they that criticised me but other members of this board.



I do think KAR is a very worthwhile charity and I urge all to support them. Certainly in the past I was more than pleased to do so, but now feel that because of the criticisms levelled at me I can no longer offer my support.

I am not in the habit of making many post on this board as I mostly read the postings with amusement and surprise. I find it amazing that grown up people can and do spend so much time insulting each other. This only leads to what can only be called a play ground fight with each party blaming each other.



I for one want to congratulate you for being grown up enough to admit your error and to apologise. I hope others will follow your lead and then perhaps the trading of insults can stop and this board can become the useful tool it should be, to all people interested in the TRNC.

Wyn as it is me that you are referring to regarding 'sustained' attacks on your integrity lol I would just like to say that if you didn't come across as a patronising knowitall then maybe you would not attract such hostility, try to be a liitle more pleasant to me and I will afford you the same courtesy.

I would like to say that as far as I am concerned, that this is the end of the matter. I thank you for your apology. But I will also point out that if the facts had been looked into there would have been no need for this in the first place. No doubt Mrs Wick will also post (it is quite early & I'm just getting ready for work) as it was her that was most upset by what had been said. We will continue to give advice as & where we can & also join in with the amusing & lighthearted threads that appear on this forum. But for myself I thank you Mr Cooper aka WYN.
