| I have just got back from TRNC after sending my container and classic car. To make things interesting my partner and i are not married yet and both appeared on the contents list with obviously the same import address. Well we happened to mention this in the office of Dave of zeroclor and he offered me the services of his newl hand holder and problem solver service. I took him up on this as i was already experiencing problems with my car import , and was beginning to feel i was heading into choppy waters. Well i did the customs did not like the two separate names on the content list and the one address and the shipping agent with us could not speak English beyond "don't panic" and we were waved away. The "fixer" as i came to call him interceded and sorted it eventually after much arguing. He then over the next 4 days carried out every aspect of sorting the import of my car through from import duty to registration MOT membership of the classic car club. |

| To be honest i would not do it again and would not have come out the correct side this time if it was not for the fixer, as he drove me everywhere and dealt with every aspect until everything was sorted and completed. It was not cheap in my UK mind but worth it to me and did save me some considerable time and money. We did come close to seeing our container returning home and came up against many walls and shoulder shrugging which the fixer sorted. If you are doing the same with cars and contents and need help you could do worse than Daves team. I can only speak as i found but he did a good job and covered every paper minefield with ease using his local knowledge and contacts. I will add that at times i felt that if some one tapped me on the back of my head money would come out of my mouth but the whole nightmare is over (or the beginning as you synics will say, especially Nick) but i am no longer not there yet but now i shall be foot in the door. Thanks Dave and the fixer. |
