| If you are a Garanti Bank customer and have a green ATM card, put it in the ticket machine before pressing the button and it will issue you with a priority number and you will jump the queue. I have just done it again and was served instantly amid many dirty looks. |

| yes I found this out when I was there a few weeks ago I waited for 40 minutes as I had not put my card in. The system assumed I was a non customer and customers get priority |

| Does this work with any Garanti card or just green ones?
I have a white bonus M/C and a gold shop& miles visa.
The latter gets you into exec lounge at Istanbul Attaturk. |

| If you have any other business to carry out i.e. with a personal banker then they will always sort you out with a priority ticket regardless, so see them first and just ask for a priority ticket and carry out your counter banking afterwards.

Is that a fair system for people who have savings accounts but do not have
agm cards?
I dont have an agm card as I dont need one but I dont appreciate having to wait while other people get priority.
I expect the replies will be get an agm card.
However if you dont know about this system then you could be waiting hours. I certainly wasn't told about it.

| Hate to point out the obvious. If you have an ATM card would it not cut down the amount of time you need to sit in queues at the bank?

If you have internet banking and an ATM card and you can successfully transfer interest from a savings account to a current account then you are laughing but unfortunately people like myself that have tried to set these processes up have to resort to going into the bank to sort it out face to face with our personal banker and we will carry on until we can all agree on want we want to achieve.
You know the score, this is the TRNC.

| deecyprus4 yes we do, pop into one of our expat branches in either Çatalköy or Karaoğlanoğlu say you are from Cyprus 44 give them my name and they will give you info, we are in the process of upgrading our internet banking right now fingers crossed it will be available real soon. |
