When we first employed our advocate /solicitor we gave him power of attorney . Does anyone know what steps we have to do take to release him for being our power of attorney ?

Hi Pipie When we changed briefs we just cancelled the POA that we had with them in writing. Paid the dues and engaged another lawyer and paid for them to assume POA. Simple and I have done this in other countries with no problems. Skogs

It depends on how your Power of Attorney is set up. Ours was set up specifically for parcelisation and once all of the documents have been signed then the POA becomes null and void. AJ

Yeh! I did forget to mention that the POA can be for many different things. Just depends on what you instructed the POA for. However it's still easily cancelled or changed either way. Skogsy
