Pierced ears problem

I had my ears re pierced about 3 months ago in Town, one is still so sore and difficult to get the earring in. Ive noticed they pierced through a mole in my ear which seems very very dark now, any expert out there who can say what the problem might be. Yes I have infection cream but the soreness returns. The jeweller did say keep the earrings in for 2 weeks but my friend said WHAT it should be 2 months thats was she was told in the UK and to bath regularly in salt water which I was never told to do.

Babrew, Take time to visit the hospital in Girne, it will cost you very little for piece of mind.



Go in the front door and go to the left and you will see a duty nurse who will pass you on to a doctor if needed.



Hope this is of some help, I only use our local hospital or the main one in Lefcosia.

Doctors say if you have a mole and it goes darker seek medical advice, has message 2 says best for piece of mind.

Thanks folks. The Doctor said I had a cyst inside my ear lobe but nothing to do with the jeweller! yea right! Had to have an op to remove it. I hope I can have them re pierced cos my chap bought me a lovely pair of earrings.

Babrew : Hopeyou can - when you do make sure earing posts (the bit that goes through the ear) are gold , silver or hypoallergic. Cheap earings can cause inflamation in newly pierced ears and senstiive skin.. When I had my ears pierced I had to wear "sleepers " - thing silver rings which had to be turned daily to stop the holes healing closed - it was a long time ago but I assume it still stands.
