Forgive me, but I find this post very hard to read without punctuation. Also, I have no idea what you are talking about. Do I assume that "Liasions" is some sort of bar/restaurant and you want us to do something about the closure? Well I have no idea where or what it is. Sorry

Just skimming over the postings and came across this one from way back. Liasons is in Ozankoy village and I have to agree with brod. When it first opened the food was excellant and the staff and owners very pleasant. On our last visit in November however, it had all changed. We sat outside and waited for someone to attend us, after about 10 minutes waiting, I went in to order our drinks and the menu. We had the all day breakfast which we'd had there before and was lovely, this time though it was cooked and served by the owner's wife who didn't even give us the time of day, but just plonked it down. Poor woman may have been having a bad day, but courtesy costs nothing and certainly an attitude like that doesn't encourange customers to return, which we didn't. The breakfast was greasy, the egg was half cooked and the "bubble and squeak" which it was adverised on the menu to go with it, was cold mashed potato and cabbage, not fried but microwaved for a few seconds and furthermore the beans which were supposed to come with it they had "run out of" Not great at all. The owner was stood behind the bar the whole time in a vest top talking to one customer. I can definately see where brod is coming from. Sad though that a great place can be run down so quickly.

I don't know when you last went to Liasons but your post is dated 21/01/08. It changed hands before Christmas and is now run by a butcher who knows his meats etc. They are fully staffed, food is good, busy for Sunday lunches and have a quizz night every Wednesday - free soup, home made and to die for. I would recommend it highly if you want a typical pub atmosphere with darts and pool.

Hi dylansgranny, I did say in my posting that we were there in November and that I had only just noticed the post by brod. I am glad to hear that Liasons has been taken over, though certainly not surprised because the previous owners did not have any interest in it when we were in. Good luck to the new owners and we will go back there when we are over next month. Thank you for the information.
