Those who have criminal court cases should go to court. The files are usually given to the judges a day in advance, so you may be called. However there is no chance of a trial because the supporting personnel will be on strike.

"a day in advance'

Wouldn't that be a Sunday? Do judges work on a Sunday?

A strike is noticeable in most countries; in the TRNC it doesn’t seem to make much difference one way or the other, especially with government employees. What purpose do they serve? Are they needed? Getting rid of a few non-productive ones might just help the country survive without massive debt. A strike solved CTAs problems quickly enough, perhaps the whole country could benefit in the same way.
