On Friday I was privileged to be asked by my friend Mehmet to travel with him to watch his group play at the above bar. The group is probably the best rock group in the TRNC and I am sure most have heard of Group SOS.

We saw SOS 2 years ago at the Zeytinlik Olive Fest, agreed, a great rock band in the TRNC.

Incorrect.

The owner of the board developed some some software to automatically corrupt links to the other board because the owner of that board was taking liberties. Which was why the owner of the aforesaid board decided to post 'Tiny' url links to disguise the original path and destination.

I have posted but one link of which I have not disguised as those that wish on knowing the the destination of the link can follow it or not.

Any back on topic.

I do not know whether you know any of the history of SOS but Mehmet (nickname Evan Keagan) was one the original founders of the group but he left to do his own thing. Now he has recently returned to the fold and the band is better than ever.

Anyone that gets the chance to see them will not be disappointed.

If I get the right amount of interest I am willing to organize a mini bus to take you to the Zephyr bar and back again on a Friday night. It would have to be a start time of about 8pm (anytime after that it will be totally packed) and a finish time of 3.30 am. The bus would depart from Lapta/Alsancak and pick up on the way. The cost of the bus would be split between those that are interested. There is no entrance fee so all you will have to pay is the cost of transport and whatever drinks you have.

Let me know if you are interested and which Friday.
