Don't know about the quality but there is a wool shop in the parade of shops where Tempo supermarket is. It is in Catalkoy.

A friend of mine gets all her wool for crocheting in a small shop near the market. From the roundabout at the market you take the road which is parallel with the main road and the shop (don't remember the name) is on the left past Bektas and before Tosalis restaurant (excuse the spelling) and they have quite a few household items outside but upstairs there is wool heaven, and not very expensive either. Anyone along there will help you to find it, I needed help the first time I went there.
