i am positive...this time of the year hunting is only allowed on Sundays..

and further more...According to the evening news on local TV's tonight,it has been announced that shooting of partridge & turac (sorry i dont know the English name for this bird) has been banned from 30th November to 31st of January..

These two birds are the main game for hunters so i dont think many will bother going shooting on Sundays..

i think they should stop the shooting for a few years at least, due to lack of anything to shoot.

this year the hunter look like they are coming home with a lot less, than previous years.

hubby doesn't even bother to go anymore.

trouble is there is a lack of countryside management.

in the uk they breed pheasants, then release them for the shoot.

that way it doesn't harm the wildlife stocks.

it would be great to see a similar program here.

Rose, he ha

I've seen them often but I don't know the species... they run in a most peculiar fashion in front of the car sometimes as if they are prepossesed with some pressing engagement but don't know quite where to run....
