I was wondering if anyone has one of these that they no longer use and would like to get rid of?

I ask because, i have rather elderly friend in Kyrenia, who has dozens of videos, and would like to watch them, but her own machine is broken beyond repair.

Don't think boot fairs bother with them now.

I have a state of the art (circa 1994) Granada VHS VCR. Don't want to sell it as I have loads of unwatched tapes. Your nice old lady can borrow it if she wants. It's complete with instructions and remote. Have car, will travel, let me know if, where and when.

ps have loadsa boxing tapes, all "only fools 'n horses" "carry on everthing" and about twenty "blueys" Chubby, Bernard, Mike Reid an a twxt from Cornwall called Jethro plus others.

pps when I first saw the post I was tempted to ask, "how old, how grateful, pic appreciated" but I didn't, not everyone appreciates my SOH.

When you joked how old, how grateful, pic appreciated, I had a flashback moment that was David Walliams getting caught snogging the face off of Matt Lucas's Gran in Little Britain, it took a while sadly for that thought to dissipate, not quickly enough !! I also expect the bluey's are also a no go, call it intuition ? Jethro is 'Classified as a God' down in Cornwall, Er, I know ?? Some friends had organised a trip to see him and asked if I wanted to join them, I said do I really want to pay to hear jokes that were first aired some 30yrs + on the Des O'Connor show, he is still the only one who is allowed to extract the urine out of fellow Cornishmen 'it is written,' he could still sell out Truro, Hall for Cornwall on a weekly basis !! Maybe Mrs Tyler is a Boxing fan though...
