We would like to thank everyone, especially Paul, Paula and Jackie of Kings Bar, for a brilliant night on Monday, in aid of Help Those With Cancer. Live music by Shy Teds got everyone up dancing the night away. With the help of the Tulips Gang of Volunteers, Ivor and Gill, Marilyn and Paul, Barbara and Geoff, Paul from Kings Bar doing the Auction, raffles, sale of wooden tulips, we raised the grand sum of 2759tl. This could not have been achieved without the help of the kind people who attended the function, so thank you all very much. George and Les

Was there and a great night was had by all, lots of fancy dress, some very scary..... What a fantastic achievement, almost 3,000TL for Tulips - they are all such a great team out there and do a fantastic job in a small environment. Well done to George, Les, Gill, Ivor, Marilyn, Paul, Barbara, Geoff and all at the Kings Bar.

that's a great sum of money for such a fun evening. Well done all you energetic fund raisers. I think it is wonderful how so many ex pats are now working towards keeping this charity afloat - it's amazing how love spreads, and a wonderful thing indeed.

Maybe we should have a film entitled 'Carry on Loving' - or did someone already do that?
