The guy must be a miracle worker if he can 98% cure your dog in an hour!! Thanks for the recommendation.

ozankoys no the guys not a miracle worker just a person who knows what to do and how to get through to the dogs in a way most others cant after you watch him and see how its done its not that hard at all just needs a lot of your own input but i think it takes years of exper to makes it look easy to others

If your dog pulls while on the lead do the following, make sure the dog is on a proper collar that fits,NOT A CHOKER,use a shortish lead, connect a piece of light chain and connect to the collar,as the dog starts to pull away flick your wrist hard the chain will rise up and make contact with the dogs shoulder,at the same time give the dog a sharp command, preferably a harsh sounding word ,heel would be good.

the use of the chain method does not hurt the dog,it only breaks his concentration for a moment but he will stop pulling.remember if you use a choker the dog will always pull to try and get away.

Another way is to use noise to break his concentration.

a small tin filled with small gravel and shaken at him will work, also a clicker would work, but the most effective is the chain method

My Poppy is an absolute nightmare on the leash. She has been able to pull over a 6'6 bloke and she's only a spaniel....if it moves she wants to chase it...and there's seriously not a lot you can do about it, her strength is shocking! However, off the leash, she's an absolute angel...

I have tried every trick in the book, from Caeser Milan, to Barbara Woodhouse...nothing but frustration and tears!

I believe to stop her pulling in an hour would take a miracle....but a most welcome one at that!

Hi DD

We tried everything including electronic collar, nothing worked. This guy shows it's not the dog at fault but the handler. It has worked for us, and I can only say don't knock it till you try it. Give it a go.

Wasn't going to reply to this thread but since you wrote it yourself in msg 5..

If the issue was fixed in an hour, the problem was with you not the dog...

Sounds great, if only it was closer to home.
