Every Tuesday in Bellapais Abbey (9 pm): "The island of Aphrodite and us". Director/Choreographer Tanju Hastunç. Reservations: 0533 863 5332.

A presentation of cultural and artistic values, left behind by Cypriot Turkish predecessors.

Hi DC,

Do they hold anything like this in April? I'm staying near Bellapais next April and would like to go and see something like this.

Thanks

OK, it's not the typical UK karaoke culture, but interesting all the same...

I took our visitors from UK to see this concert a couple of weeks ago and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was absolutely delightful and a must for anyone here on holiday. The costumes and the dancing were wonderful.

Why do you always find a way to sneak in knocking the Brits?

As you said on another thread:

"Yes! I hate the British! I hate the British! I hate the British! I hate the British!

P.S. Worse: I even hate my many British friends in TRNC!

P.P.S. But what I hate most of all, Giles: xenophobe/paranoid idiots* (any nationality)."

It is not typical DUTCH pot smoking, prostitute pushing, cowardly behaviour either, why DC is allowed to get away with his racist rants is a mystery to many. Could one of the mods please explain.

No they can't because they allow such behaviour from him, and even go as far to defend him when others disagree!

Well done, the (British?) expats on this forum! Whatever you say about me (and I couldn't care less when I read the names in this thread) - you helped message 1 and 3 back to the top again. Keep up your good work, get rid of your sad frustrations. Thank you!

Tell me DC, what does it feel like to be really disliked by so many!

Re: Msg 13,

Do you mean to be disliked by your other 99 aliases?

@ msg 13, marks: (...) Tell me DC, what does it feel like to be really disliked by so many! (...)

▶ Marks, I couldn't care less. Actually I find it flattering to be disliked by people like you. (Messages 1 and 3 back to the top, thank you).

I do hope that the many readers of this thread, most of them obviously belonging to the silent majority, have some interest in message 1 and 3. If you decide to sniff some local, historic culture: have a nice evening!
