If you are under 30, under normal circumstances you have a reasonable chance of getting them before you shuffle off this mortal coil!

We got ours in around the 2- 2 1/2 years time scale but many people have waited years.

PTP is the longest part.

A lot depends on if you are buying off plan or if there is already a registered title deed which is in the hands of the seller. If the seller has a title deed in their name it should be quicker.

When you pay your money make sure a lawyer either yours or theirs takes the title deed from the seller and holds it until PTP is agreed. That way no mortage or debt can be run up on the kochan.

If no kochan is available it is possible to buy on contract from the seller but a lot more risky.

Hope that helps.

Hameln, don't think its oh so straight in Turkey. I have a Turkish family memeber, this year the Turkish goverment stole most of his families land in Turkey. Without compensation, which has ended up in a long court battle, and is still ongoing. They are fighting to get back land they have owned for generations.

We got ours in just over a year and our Kocan in 18months, it just seems to depend on the seller for Kocan.
