Young Dog found Tonight

Black pointer type dog found tonight in the Fez - apparently it followed a couple walking down from Bellapais so maybe it has got loose from Ozankoy area. It is a young dog and very friendly - it is Black with a white chest and has a very nice collar (not cheap) on. I have taken the dog home and fed it and i must say it has eaten like never before, so maybe this dog has been missing for a few days. Why is it that people (mostly locals I'm afraid) are starting to put collars on their dogs and think it's the thing to do, however, I've never seen a TC owned dog with a tag and phone number on. Maybe some of them do, but I've yet to see one.

if someone would like to offer him a home we would be very grateful as we already have two rescue dogs and cannot take another!!



he is very good with other animals and small children,



very friendly and great off the lead.



Please Please somebody offer this lovely little boy a home as we cannot keep him much longer!

The metal on the collar looks brand new, doesn't it? Even if someone hasn't got a phone number, then a name and contact could be printed on it. (that's of course if they want the dog back)

The poster is on display in the office (has been since Weds) - we have also done a report on him in case his original owners ring, or call into, the office asking about him.

He looks a real darling. I hope somebody can give him a good forever home very soon. The majority of dogs here have the most lovely nature and give so much pleasure. Sadly I cannot take him as have so many strays to care for already.

I am sat looking at him now he has a very sad face but is very clever he has learnt to sit since we have had him and would make a great family pet as he loves small children!!

We had the guy round yesterday to look at the dog - he says he is going to take him but he has to put some chicken wire up around parts of his garden etc. I know the guy and he seems genuine enough and has given me his phone number - so fingers crossed for a happy ending in a day or two - i will keep you posted.

Well Ladies and Gents this should be my last post on this. I am happy to report that we have re-housed the young Pup with a friend of mine. We went to Diana Beach with Him, our 2 dogs and the Pup so he could see them all running and playing together. He then took the Pup home with him (Buffavento) in his car and we have agreed to keep in touch with dog walking times and places etc so as all 3 of them can still play together occasionally.



I would just like to say many thanks for all the interest and positive remarks about this little fella and feeling kind of a little bit sad now - but happy that he has found a great guy and a lovely home.



Nice to see a Happy Ending for a change. )
