Marky has lots of information that helps a lot of people with sat problems, and they are all relevant to Cyprus sat.

A moderators job is to do just that, moderate, not to influence or dictate.

I do not care whether 6m's posts on this board or not, what I do care about is the fact that somebody feels as though the membership of this board should be judge and jury as to whether another member should stay or be banned.

My other concern is that the board is slowly losing its way. The mission statement on the log-in page should remind you all of what this board was set up for.

As for your comment about my last sentence it is fact and if you do not like it then find another board that has no moderation, you might be looking for sometime.

Personally I thought yrret's post was way off the mark.



As I read AJ's post his first 2 sentences were entirely cynical and thus he was decrying the basis of the thread (voting about mmmmm) and reminding everyone of the purpose of the board (which includes the dissemination of information).

He then stated, quite factually, that the moderators have the job of deciding who does/does not post and it is no job for the members to decide..



So why does yrret attack him and then say exactly what AJ has just said - and then attack him again because the board is moderated - that is hardly AJ's fault.



I think yrret misunderstood and his subsequent post - the post praised here - was rubbish.

Not quite sure why you think it has failed as it is healthy with active members and more to the point the members are the 'cream of the crop' but we knew that it would never eclipse 44 but then we did not want it to. It is early days and it is still growing. A failure for a board is when it closes as we have seen with another board. My guess is that is what you you would like to see happen to CyprusNow.info but we have long term plans and a few interesting tricks up our sleeves. Oh by the way we have already found out that another 'struggling' board has started to plagiarize some of our boards posting

But you either did not notice, or maliciously enjoyed, the fact that your praised post was an attack on AJ. What is more, it was an attack that was totally unjusitified. Yrret had not understood AJ.
