@ msg 1, AJ: (...) Do you really know what your government is doing? (...) ▶ Does your government really know what it is (not) doing? P.S. Let's blame the Euro, the bl**dy French, the bl**dy Germans and certainly the bl**dy Dutch.

Its a complete joke the uk's resources were drained by the influx of immigrants a long time ago. It is correct to say great britain is no longer great, its a nightmare and it will not recover. I do believe the euro will survive, but it was always going to screw the more wealthy european countries.

@ msg 6, wynyardman: (...) we wont bail out the EURO (...) ▶ "We"..?! The UK, not belonging to the Euro zone, is no longer welcome to discuss the Euro with the really important economies in Europe! Mr Sarkozy and Mrs Merkel recently told your Mr Cameron. Don't you follow the news? Type less and read more. P.S. You'd better spend your money on the slumps of the big UK cities, where the time bomb keeps growing and ticking. Wyn, your UK superiority complex is totally misplaced.

Dutch Crusader, If you were attending to the posters on your board, you wouldnt have time to comment on my postings. As I said, and repeat, there is little doubt that through our, just to be increased contributions to The IMF, that we shall be digging you members of the Euro club , out of The Dodo. Even the TCs have measure of the Greeks, and their financial shenanigans, and wanted nowt to do with them Hardly a model of financial prudence. Goodbye EURO! Now that would make The UK financially superior. wyn

It is unbelievable A whistle blowing immigration officer said that BAA would decide that the queues were too long. BAA would then ask immigration to raise the status to level 2. Often border control would agree and this meant that large numbers of people were allowed to walk in with just the very basic of checks. The same immigration officer said, that on many days, there were at least ten suspects he had to let through without doing more substantial checks. He is convinced that terrorists and criminals have been let in. My source is the Times newspaper

@ msg 12, KarmaSooty1: (...) Have you booked for the Srebrenica trip yet? (...) ▶ I don't think I have time this year - and I really don't care about another incident in the long and bloody history of the Balkans. So you erect your monument there without me. P.S. Maybe you can follow up with monuments in South Africa, where concentration camps were invented by the Brits in the time of the Boer Wars. And if you're ready there erect another monument in (South) Cyprus, where the Brits put surviving Jews from the concentration camps in Europe in... concentration camps. Barbed wire included. And if you've got more money for more monuments - I suggest a monument in Iraq where the Brits invaded on a false (US) pretext. P.P.S. You are a miserable, anonymous b*st*rd. If I were British I would be ashamed to call you British also.

Today's "Independent" "The Dutch, quick to moralise about human rights abuses by other nations, have never properly examined or debated the unpleasant history of their own experience in the colonial war. Dutch society seems to suffer from collective amnesia when it comes to the murderous behaviour of the soldiers who tried unsuccessfully to suppress the Indonesian independence movement in the jungles of Java and other islands almost 50 years ago. Young conscript soldiers, acting under orders, put numerous hamlets to the torch and butchered men, women and children."

Newlad...I am still here .Iread these posts every night and find some of them really amusing...After about 3 posts the whole topic changes to something entirely different to the original issue so I sit here and think "which one shall i attempt to comment on" and in the end I decide not to bother. This Brodie Clarke seems to be a total idiot. He has held three top posts in this outfit and made a cockup of all three. I am afraid Newlad I dont have a lot of faith in the our new leader, but you never know he might get better with time. I shall not be pleased with Cameron if he allows the increase he has sanctioned to the IMF to be used to back up the bail out of Greece. He says he will not, but he speak with fork tongue on a lot of issues lately..As for the Home Sec.She has a lot to answer for, after all it was her idea to waterdown the checks. I have just come back from EU country and spent longer in passport control than a plane load Pakistanis from Islamabad.....

The whole point of the EU was to waterdown the independent nation states and with the collusion of our own ruling elite it has been very successful. Now they will be drawn further into fiscal and political union aided and abetted by cameron who is the biggest europhile since ted heath. But all the suckers who voted for the unconservative party at the last election just might start to wake up now, but I doubt...
