Wine Fridges and Humidors

All,



Does anyone know on the island if you can purchase wine fridges and cigar humidors? Fridge / Fridges to hold 200 or so bottles of wine. Humidor nothing to big.

I asked the same question re. humidors some time ago. I got mine in the cigar shop in Ledra street int the South. Huge choice there.

Chessman did you get permission? Only humidors are covered areas and taxes must be due... ;¬)

I bought one of those fancy carved box's from the shop in Girne and use a small square of Oasis soaked in water in a small plastic tub. Made an acceptable humidor for my modest cigars.

Seems to work very well keeping around 60% humidity and looks nice on the sideboard.

Groucho. The Turkish border police thought it was a massive box of cigars when we declared it to them! They seemed a bit confused when it was explained but understood and were quite amused buy it. They merely waved us through with a smile. Wish I had the camera with me!
