There is one at the top of the main street in Girne, very near the Turkish delight place. I think it costs about 15TL for 4 plus you get two black and white "posed" shots free. Hope this helps

If you need photos for your passport you have to go to an approved studio for them . Berkant oppposite astro is one, also Yucel further down on same side of road from HSBC.

msg 7. is quite right, because the BHC scan your photo into the computer it has to be with a certain back ground for the machine to copy it, you may find going to a machine will cost you double as they ( BHC ) will send you to one in Lecosia.

gotavilla Hi,

The link below shows the rules for passport photographs, providing the place you use complies, 'happy days'

Good Luck.

Beware, we had passport photos taken by a photographic studio that was well aware of UK Passport requirements and assured us that the photos would comply with requirements and they certainly appeared to do so. However, the application was refused because the background was 'too white'.

Yes, beware of background colours. There was a query with mine, not so much the background itself but rather the fact that my hair is very pale and so was the background. It was accepted after some thought. If all you want is passport sized photo for a Government office or some other paperwork, then anywhere will do.
