| I would be grateful for information on the genus Malva as found and eaten with fried eggs in Cyprus. I am trying to work out the difference between it and the Mallow that is found in the UK. Many thanks |

| You are referring to Malva parviflora, an annual with rounded leaves. It grows mostly where there is agricultural activity, but also on building sites, etc. It has antioxidant properties and is harvested from December to April. |
