My husband has managed to mislay the charger for his Philips Aquatouch razer. Is there anywhere near Girne where we could buy one?

Thanks

I doubt you could even find one off the shelf in UK,unless you ordered and waited..

Shaver chargers are not replacement parts and normally not sold or stocked..

Probably your best bet is to go to the Chinese Bazaar shop in Karakum and buy a 'Chinky' made electric shaver for the princely sum of 18 TL - this includes electric shaver, charger cable [2 pin to mains 240 volt 'curly cord']and case. Most rechargeable electric shavers contain two 1.2 volt NiMh, or NiCad batteries [AA size] with an internal rectifier, and you'll most likely find that the charging socket on the 'Chinky' model is identical to the one on your husband's Philips 'Aquatouch'. To replace the Philips original, by the time you've faffed about ordering and paying way over the odds for p&p, plus the waiting, is simply not worth it.

Just make sure you take your 'Aquatouch' with you to ensure the charging plug on the 'Chinky' charger is compatible with the 'Aquatouch' charging socket.

If it's not - then I suggest going to 'Amanda's Auction' and finding an old shaver set there, as the charger cable and plug end, even on an old model, is likely to be compatible.
