Any feedback on last nights concert as will be taking a friend from foreign fields tonight and would like him to really enjoy the experience.

This was the first concert we had attended. Congratulations to ALL concerned. The choice of songs was excellent and together with the readings served as a reminder of the futility of war and the sacrifices that have been made by our armed forces. The Act of Remberance including Ataturks speech struck just the right note and the community singing at the end served to lift our spirits. Whilst no member of the team should be singled out we found the duet "And the band played Waltzing Matilda" particularly moving as it refered to an action that is often forgotten and the sacrifice made by our commonwealth allies.
